Within a day, Granados-Elizalde was arrested and booked into San Mateo County jail on suspicion of crimes including lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, coercing a minor to pose for obscene material, arranging to meet a minor to commit a lewd act, possession of child pornography, and burglary. Police said an ensuing investigation identified 25-year-old Redwood City resident Kevin Granados-Elizalde, an assistant site director for the summer program, as a suspect. San Mateo police said in a news release that officers were called Wednesday to Fiesta Gardens International School on Bermuda Drive after a parent reported “inappropriate interactions” between her child and a staff member at a Boys and Girls Club program hosted on the school grounds.
